Die Kikai-Caldera (jap. 鬼界カルデラ, Kikai-karudera) ist eine große Unterwasser-Caldera mit einem Durchmesser von 19 Kilometern inmitten der Osumi-Inseln in der Präfektur Kagoshima, Japan.

Die Caldera ist die Folge eines Vulkanausbruchs um 4350 v. Chr. der Stärke 7 auf dem Vulkanexplosivitätsindex. Damit handelte es sich um eine der heftigsten Eruptionen im Holozän (seit der letzten Eiszeit). Der pyroklastischer Strom der Eruption erreichte die 100 km entfernte südliche Küste von Kyūshū und die Asche flog bis nach Hokkaidō.

Kikai ist ein aktiver Vulkan. Kleinere Eruptionen ereignen sich häufig auf dem Iō-dake (硫黄岳), einem der vulkanischen Gipfel auf Tokara-Iō-jima (トカラ硫黄島, auch Satsuma-Iō-jima (薩摩硫黄島) genannt), eine der Inseln die sich auf dem Rand der Caldera befinden. Die letzte Eruption fand 2005 statt.
