Leap Castle ist eine Burg im County Offaly in Irland, die 1250 von der Familie O’Bannon gebaut wurde. Ursprünglich hieß sie Leim ui Bhanain oder Leap of the O'Bannons.

Viele Menschen wurden in dieser Burg gefangengehalten und hingerichtet, weswegen es zahlreiche Spukberichte gibt. Das Schloss soll von zahlreichen Geistern heimgesucht werden, unter anderem von einer kleinen, buckligen Gestalt, die an einem verwesenden, schwefligen Gestank erkannt werden kann. Diese Kreatur wird von manchen „Elemental“ genannt.

Leap Castle wurde unter anderem schon von dem Team der britischen Erfolgssendung Most Haunted im Jahr 2002 besucht und untersucht. Auch hat Taps (kurz für The Atlantic Paranomal Society) im Rahmen ihrer Reality-Show Ghost Hunters Leap Castle auf paranormale Aktivität hin investigiert. Dies war vier Jahre später im Jahr 2006.

Das Schloss ist seit 1991 im Besitz des irischen Musikers Sean Ryan, der das Schloss restaurieren lässt.
