Lighthouse Family

Lighthouse Family war ein britisches Musikduo von Mitte der 1990er- bis in die frühen 2000er-Jahre.

Der in Großbritannien geborene nigerianische Sänger Tunde Baiyewu und der Londoner Keyboardmusiker Paul Tucker gründeten die Band 1993 in Newcastle upon Tyne (England) nach einem College-Besuch. Durch den guten Verkauf des Debütalbums Ocean Drive aus dem Jahr 1995 wurde die Band zu populären Vertretern des Easy Listening in ganz Europa. Nach der Auflösung startete Baiyewu eine Solokarriere.

Im November 2010 kündigte das Duo die Rückkehr der Lighthouse Family an. Geplant ist eine Tour durch Großbritannien und Irland im März 2011.
