Die Manufactoring Enterprise Solutions Accociation (MESA) ist ein US-amerikanischer Industrieverband mit Sitz in Chandler (Arizona). Der von Softwareunternehmen 1992 gegründete Verband will Geschäftsprozesse im produzierenden Gewerbe durch die Verbesserung bestehender Anwendungen und die Einführung neuer Informationssysteme verbessern. Dabei spielen die vertikale und horizontale Integration von Informationssystemen eine wesentliche Rolle.
MESA-Richtlinien
Die MESA hält für die Fertigungsbetriebe und Solution-Provider eine Reihe von Informationen zu den Themen Fertigungsmanagement, Produktentstehung, Qualitätsmanagement und Produktionsoptimierung bereit. Besondere Bedeutung hat hierbei die Integration von fertigungsnahen Systemen.
