Nikolay Puchkov

Nikolay Puchkov

Nikolai Georgijewitsch Putschkow (russisch Николай Георгиевич Пучков; * 30. Januar 1930 in Moskau, Sowjetunion; † 9. August 2005 in Sankt Petersburg, Russland) war der russische Nationaltorhüter im Eishockey, der schon zu Lebzeiten in der Sowjetunion zur Legende wurde. Er spielte unter anderem für HK Dynamo Moskau und HC ZSKA Moskau.

Putschkow wurde als Torwart mit der sowjetischen Nationalmannschaft 1956 Olympiasieger in Cortina d'Ampezzo und Weltmeister in den Jahren 1954 und 1956. Nach Beendigung seiner Spielerkarriere arbeitete Putschkow als Trainer von 1963 bis 1980 und in der Saison 2001/02 für SKA Leningrad. 1971 gewann er mit ihnen die Bronzemedaillen der sowjetischen Meisterschaft.

Putschkow starb im Alter von 75 Jahren.
