Die Open Smart Card Development Platform (OpenSCDP) bietet eine Reihe von Werkzeugen, um Anwender und Entwickler bei der Erstellung, dem Test und der Anwendung von Chipkarte Applikationen zu unterstützen. OpenSCDP unterstützt den Global Platform Standard (Scripting, Profile, Messaging) und verwendet ECMAScript als Skriptsprache.
Alle Tools werden in der Programmiersprache Java entwickelt. OpenSCDP unterstützt PC/SC und CT-API-Kartenleser und die meisten ISO7816-4 konformen Kartentypen.
Sämtliche zugehörige Biblitotheken und Inhalte sind unter der GNU General Public License (GPL) als Open Source veröffentlicht.
