Opsahl

Arve Opsahl (* 14. Mai 1921 in Oslo; † 29. April 2007 ebenda) war ein norwegischer Film- und Theaterschauspieler.

Opsahl begann seine Karriere 1942 im Theater als Schauspieler und spielte zahlreiche Rollen auf der Bühne und in mehr als vierzig Filmen. [1] Seine bekannteste Rolle hatte er in den 14 Filmen des norwegischen Remake der dänischen Olsenbande. Er spielte die Hauptrolle des Bandenchefs Egon Olsen vom ersten norwegischen Olsenbandenfilm 1969 an und in allen anderen 13 Filmen bis 1999. Er ist auch für seine Rolle als der alte Mann „Henry“ der norwegischen Fernsehserie Mot i Brøstet weithin bekannt.

Im Dezember 2005 wurde Opsahl durch eine Online- Zeitung schon einmal vorzeitig für tot erklärt, was der Schauspieler in dem Fall aber mit Humor trug. [2]

Besonders tragisch waren auch die Dreharbeiten des letzten norwegischen Olsenbandenfilms (Olsenbandens siste stikk, 1999). Arve Opsahl verspürte Schmerzen im rechten Bein bei den Dreharbeiten zum letzten 14. Film, wollte aber durchhalten, weil er die Hauptrolle des Egon spielte. Nach der Beendigung dieses Filmes wurde dafür dann als Folge ein Bein amputiert. [3]
