PEARL [pɜːɹl] ist eine Echtzeit- und Multitasking-Programmiersprache nach DIN 66253. Sie findet besonders unter RTOS-UH Anwendung. PEARL steht für Process and Experiment Automation Realtime Language und hat nichts mit der Scriptsprache Perl zu tun.

Anwendung

PEARL wird unter anderem verwendet in der Programmierung von Prozessrechnern bei Energieversorgern, so zum Beispiel bei den Stadtwerken Hannover.[1]

Weiterhin wird PEARL an vielen Hochschulen zur Ausbildung in Programmierung von Echtzeitsystemen genutzt.[2]
