POKEY war der Name des Soundchips der 8-Bit Computer der Firma Atari.

Der Name steht für POtentiometer and KEYboard Integrated Circuit. Der Chip war auch für die Tastatursteuerung zuständig. Er verfügte über 4 Stimmen (Mono) und einen Tonumfang von 3,5 Oktaven. Neben Computern wie Atari 800 oder Atari 800 XL, wurde der Chip auch in Videospielkonsolen wie dem Atari 5200 und in Arcade-Automaten verwendet.
