Paulo Vargas

Paulo Vargas (* 8. November 1979) ist ein costa-ricanischer Mountainbike- und Straßenradrennfahrer.

Paulo Vargas gewann 2002 eine Etappe bei der Vuelta a Costa Rica. Im nächsten Jahr gewann er eine Etappe bei der Vuelta a Higuito und eine Etappe mit Gesamtwertung bei der Vuelta a Chiriqui. Bei der Vuelta a Costa Rica 2003 und 2004 gewann er jeweils mit seinem Team das Mannschaftszeitfahren und eine weitere Etappe alleine. In der Saison 2005 war Vargas jeweils auf zwei Teilstücken der Vuelta a Cuba und der Vuelta a Costa Rica erfolgreich. Außerdem entschied er die Gesamtwertung der Volta Ciclista Provincia Tarragona für sich und wurde chilenischer Straßenmeister. 2006 war er wieder zweimal bei der Landesrundfahrt in Costa Rica erfolgreich und er wurde Erster auf einem Teilstück der Vuelta a Chiriqui. Im nächsten Jahr gewann er dort auch eine Etappe und eine bei der Vuelta a Higuito.
