Penny Arcade Expo

Die Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) ist eine Convention für Video- und Computerspieler im US-Bundesstaat Washington.

Sie wurde von Jerry Holins und Mike Krahulik, den Autoren des Penny-Arcade-Webcomics, gegründet und findet seit 2004 jährlich statt. Von 2004 bis 2006 wurde die Messe in Bellevue ausgerichtet, 2007 zog sie ins Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle um.

Nach der E³ ist die Penny Arcade Expo die größte Spielemesse der USA. Sie fokussiert sowohl auf Video- und Computerspiele, als auch auf Tabletops. Eine Besonderheit besteht darin, dass das kulturelle Rahmenprogramm oft von Nerdcore–Künstlern gestaltet wird.
