Philip Carr-Gomm

Philip Carr-Gomm (* 1945 in Sussex, England) ist ein keltischer Druide und der Neubegründer des englischen Ordens der Barden, Ovaten und Druiden. Er lebt derzeit in Sussex, England mit seiner Frau Stephanie und seinen Kindern.

Leben

Von einem jungen Alter (mit 15) an wurde er 1960 in den OBOD initiiert und studierte mit Ross Nichols, dem Gründer des OBOD den Paganismus, und übernahm 1988 nach Nichols Tod den Orden. Er kombinierte seine Arbeit und Rolle als Vorsitzender mit Schriften, Unterhaltungen und Workshops.

Er hat ein Diplom in Psychologie des Universitäts College in London und ist ausgebildeter Psychotherapeut für Erwachsene am Institut für Psychosynthese und in der Pflanzentheraphie für Kinder mit Dr. Rachel Pinney ausgebildet. Er wurde auch am London Montessori Centre ausgebildet und gründete die Lewes Montessori School.

Leistungen

Seine Bücher wurden verlegt bei: HarperCollins, Random House, Simon & Schuster, St. Martin’s Press, Watkins, Thoth, and Granta, und sind in viele fremde Sprachen übersetzt worden Eine Audio-cassette mit 2 langen Interviews wird von Full Circle Radio, Australien vertrieben.
