Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka (* 3. November 1955) ist eine südafrikanische Politikerin der Partei COPE. Als Mitglied des ANC war sie von 2005 bis 2008 Vizepräsidentin.

Nach der Entlassung von Vizepräsident Jacob Zuma (ANC) ernannte Staatspräsident Thabo Mbeki die bisherige Ministerin für Rohstoffe und Energie Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka (ANC) am 22. Juni 2005 zur neuen südafrikanischen Vizepräsidentin.[1] Am 21. September 2008 reichte sie gemeinsam mit einigen Ministern ihren Rücktritt ein, nachdem der ANC Mbeki durch Kgalema Motlanthe ersetzt hatte. Ihre Nachfolgerin als Vizepräsidentin wurde Baleka Mbete. Ende Februar trat sie dem neugegründeten Congress of the People bei, dem auch weitere Anhänger Mbekis angehören. [2]
