Pub-crawl

Der pub-crawl (engl. pub - Kneipe , crawl - kriechen) ist vor allem in Großbritannien verbreitet und bezeichnet das Umherziehen einer Gruppe in möglichst viele Kneipen an einem Abend. In jeder Kneipe muss mindestens ein Bier getrunken werden, wobei es auch alkoholfreie Abwandlungen mit beispielsweise Kaffee gibt. Die Bezeichnung crawl weist auf den physischen Zustand der Teilnehmer am Ende der Veranstaltung hin.

Der Weg zwischen den Kneipen wird zu Fuß, per Fahrrad oder Taxi zurückgelegt. Vorteilhaft ist es, wenn die Stadt, in der das das pub-crawling stattfindet, eine möglichst hohe Kneipendichte aufweist.

Das pub-crawling wird häufig zu besonderen Anlässen wie beispielsweise dem Junggesellenabschied betrieben. In Deutschland findet der pub-crawl vor allem bei Städtereisen statt. Dabei wird auf sehr spezielle Weise das Nachtleben der bereisten Stadt erkundet.
