Skatval ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Stjørdal in der Provinz Nord-Trøndelag, Norwegen. Die Ortschaft hat ungefähr 1500 Einwohner auf einer Fläche von 94 km². Sie liegt auf einer Halbinsel am östlichen Ufer des Trondheimfjord, südlich der berühmten Burg Steinvikholmen.
