Der Telegraph Hill ist ein Hügel und Stadtteil in San Francisco. Er verdankt seinen Namen einer hier vor Einführung der elektrischen Telegrafie seit September 1849 stehenden mechanischen Signalisierungseinrichtung (Semaphor), einem Mast mit zwei beweglichen Armen, deren Stellung den Anwohnern den Typ der demnächst einlaufenden Schiffe anzeigte. Der Hügel, einer von 44 im Stadtgebiet, ist 83 m hoch.

Auf dem Hügel wurde im Jahr 1933 der Coit Tower gebaut, ein 64 m hoher Turm. Von hier aus hat man eine Rundumsicht auf die Stadt und die Bucht von San Francisco sowie das Golden Gate.
