Thomas Palaiologos (latinisiert Thomas Paleologus; * 1409/10 in Konstantinopel; † 12. Mai 1465 in Rom) war ein Prinz von Byzanz aus der Familie der Palaiologen. Er war von 1428 bis 1460 Despot von Morea bzw. seit 1432 Fürst von Achaia.

Thomas war der jüngste Sohn des Kaisers Manuel II. Palaiologos von Byzanz und der Helene von Serbien, der Tochter des serbischen Fürsten Konstantin. 1417/1418 ging er nach Mystras. Ab 1428 regierte er dort als Despot gemeinsam mit seinen Brüdern Theodor II., Konstantin XI. (1449–1453 letzter byzantinischer Kaiser) und Demetrios (ab 1449). Nach der Eroberung Konstantinopels im Jahre 1453 neigte er im Gegensatz zu seinem osmanenfreundlichen Bruder und Mitherrscher Demetrios zu westlicher Unterstützung und floh daher nach der türkischen Eroberung der Peloponnes 1460 nach Rom. Er trat im römischen Exil zum römisch-katholischen Glauben über.

Seine jüngste, in Rom geborene Tochter Zoe (Sofia), heiratete 1472 den Großfürsten von Moskau Iwan III.
