Troopergate (von Trooper, einem Rang im US-amerikanischen Polizeisystem und Gate, in Anhlehung an Watergate) steht für Anschuldigungen an folgende Personen:

  • Sarah Palin, die vom Ethik-Ausschuss in Alaska des Amtsmissbrauch bezichtigt wurde.
  • Eliot Spitzer, der nach Inanspruchnahme von Diensten exklusiver Prostituierten von seinem Amt als Gouverneur von New York zurücktrat.
  • Bill Clinton, dem vorgeworfen wurde, die Nationalgardisten (engl. Trooper) Larry Patterson und Roger Perry beauftragt zu haben, ihm Rendezvous zu verschaffen, siehe Troopergate.
