Statistiken bei NFL.com Tajuan „Ty“ Law (* 10. Februar 1974 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania) ist ein US-amerikanischer Footballspieler auf der Rolle des Cornerbacks. Momentan spielt er bei keinem Team und ist Free Agent der National Football League.
Karriere
Law besuchte die University of Michigan und wurde dort zwei Mal in drei Jahren einstimmig zum Most Valuable Player der Big Ten Conference gewählt.
Er wurde beim Draft 1995 als 23. Spieler insgesamt von den New England Patriots verpflichtet, bei denen er die ersten neun Jahre seiner Karriere verbringen würde. Aufgrund von neun Interceptions wurde er 1998 das erste Mal zum Pro Bowl gewählt und war der erste Patriots der jemals die Tabelle bei Interceptions angeführt hat. Den ersten Super Bowl konnte er 2001 gewinnen, 2003 und 2004, bei dem er aufgrund von einer Verletzung jedoch nicht teilnehmen konnte, folgten zwei weitere. 2001, 2002 und 2003 konnte er am Pro Bowl teilnehmen.
Am 25. Februar 2005 unterschrieb Law einen Vertrag mit den New York Jets und konnte in der folgenden Saison 10 Interceptions erzielen – die meisten in einer Saison seiner Karriere. Weil die Jets 2006 zu stark über ihrem Salary Cap waren, wechselte Law zu den Kansas City Chiefs. Bei einem Spiel der Play-offs konnte er zwei Pässe von Peyton Manning abfangen und kann somit insgesamt fünf Interceptions gegen ihn vorweisen, was Rekord ist. 2008 wurde er wieder zu den Jets geschickt.
Law unterschrieb am 6. November 2009 einen Vertrag bei den Denver Broncos.[1]
