Die University of Central Florida (auch UCF genannt) ist eine staatliche Universität in Orlando im US-Bundesstaat Florida. Mit 53.537 Studenten ist sie größte Hochschule in Florida und die zweitgrößte Universität der USA.
Geschichte
Die UCF wurde 1963 als Florida Technological University gegründet und nahm im Oktober 1968 mit 1.948 Studenten den Betrieb auf. 1978 erhielt sie ihren heutigen Namen.
Sport
Die Sportteams der UCF werden die Knights genannt. Die Hochschule ist Mitglied in der Conference USA.
