Bay Minette ist eine Stadt und Verwaltungssitz des Baldwin County im Süden des US-amerikanischen Bundesstaates Alabama. Nach einer Schätzung aus dem Jahr 2009 hatte der Ort 8342 Einwohner[1]. Die Gesamtfläche des Ortes beträgt 20,8 km².

Demografie

Bei der Volkszählung im Jahr 2000 hatte der Ort 7820 Einwohner, die sich auf 2950 Haushalte und 1911 Familien verteilten. Die Bevölkerungsdichte betrug somit 377,4 Einwohner/km². 64,3% der Bevölkerung waren weiß, 33,5% afroamerikanisch. In 34,4% der Haushalte lebten Kinder unter 18 Jahren. Das Durchschnittseinkommen betrug 27.226 US-Dollar pro Haushalt, wobei 22,3% der Bevölkerung unterhalb der Armutsgrenze lebten.
