Die Region Zanzibar Urban/West ist eine von insgesamt 26 Regionen (mkoa) in Tansania, eine von fünf im Staat Sansibar und eine von drei auf der Hauptinsel Sansibar. Die Stadt Sansibar entspricht einem der beiden Distrikte und Verwaltungssitz der Region, dem Distrikt Urban (Mijni).
Die Region hat als 390.074 Einwohner (Volkszählung vom 1. August 2006) auf einer Fläche von 224 km².
