Brine, Corp. ist ein Sportartikelhersteller in den USA. Er stellt Lacrosse-, Fußball-, Volleyball- und Feldhockey-Ausrüstung her. Brine vermarktet seinen Produkte unter eigenen Marken wie In The Crease für Tore und Torzubehör. Das Unternehmen wurde 1922 von W.H. Brine als die W.H. Brine Company gegründet. Es war das private Unternehmen der Familie Brine, bis es von New Balance am 4. August 2006 übernommen wurde.

Gründung

Der Firmengründer startete mit einem kleinen Verkauf an Sportausrüstung und Trikots. Er verkaufte seine Produkte an Privatschulen und auf regionalen Veranstaltungen, bis Brine zu einem der führenden Hersteller von Lacrosse-Ausrüstung weltweit wurde.

Cascade

1986 stieg Bill Brine aus dem Familienunternehmen aus und gründete Cascade, den derzeit größten Lacrossehelm- und Lacrosse-Augenschutz-Hersteller auf der Welt. Cascade ist die offizielle Marke der Lacrossehelme in der Major League Lacrosse und war elf von zwölf Malen der offizielle Helm-Hersteller der NCAA-Männer-Lacrossemeisterschaften.
