Abbas Maroufi

Abbas Maroufi (* 1957 in Teheran) ist ein iranischer Autor von Romanen und Erzählungen und Herausgeber der oppositionellen Zeitschrift Gardoon. Er musste 1996 den Iran verlassen und lebte zunächst mit seiner Familie in Düren, wo er eine Zeit lang Gast im Heinrich-Böll-Haus war. Später siedelte er nach Berlin um, wo er seitdem lebt und unter anderem eine Buchhandlung betreibt.
