Adrian John Brown

Adrian John Brown (* 27. April 1852 in Burton-upon-Trent; † 2. Juli 1919[1] in Turramurra bei Sydney) war ein Biochemiker.

Er studierte Chemie an der Royal School of Mines und war dann kurzzeitig Privatassistent von Professor Russell am Bertholomews Hospital, bevor er an einer Brauerei anfing. 1899 ging er an ein neu errichtetes Institut für Brauwesen in Birmingham, wurde Erster Prüfer für Biochemie am Institut of Chemistry of Great Britain and Ireland und 1904 Professor für Biologie und Fermentationschemie.[2]
