Anthony Calf (* 4. Mai 1959 in Hammersmith, London, England) ist ein britischer Schauspieler.

Leben

Anthony Calf wurde 1959 im Londoner Stadtteil Hammersmith geboren. An der London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art ließ er sich zum Schauspieler ausbilden. Neben einer Reihe von Theaterproduktionen wirkte er hauptsächlich im britischen Fernsehen mit, so z. B. in den Krimiserien Inspector Barnaby (Midsomer Murders, 1999) und New Tricks (2005). 1995 war er auch als Colonel Fitzwilliam in der sechsteiligen BBC-Fernsehreihe Stolz und Vorurteil (Pride and Prejudice, 1995) neben Jennifer Ehle und Colin Firth zu sehen.

Zu den Kinoproduktionen, in denen er kleine Nebenrollen spielte, zählen die Filmkomödie King George – Ein Königreich für mehr Verstand (The Madness of King George, 1994), die Literaturverfilmung Anna Karenina (1997) mit Sophie Marceau und der Thriller Straightheads an der Seite von Gillian Anderson.

Mit seiner Ehefrau Caroline Harker hat er drei Töchter: Louise Emma Calf (* 1983), Cecilia Ann Calf (* 1995) und Anemone Georgiana Calf (* 2000).
