Arthur Charles Wellesley, 4. Duke of Wellington KG, GCVO (* 15. März 1849; † 18. Juni 1934) war ein britischer Peer.

Leben und Karriere

Wellesley war der zweite Sohn von Charles Wellesley; sein Großvater war Arthur Wellesley, 1. Duke of Wellington, der Sieger von Waterloo und britische Premierminister. Er wurde am Eton College von 1861 bis 1866 ausgebildet. In der Folgezeit diente er bei den Grenadier Guards und erreichte 1887 den Rang eines Colonels. Wellesley war Deputy Lieutenant von Hampshire.

Wellesley erbte am 8. Juni 1900 den Titel eines Duke of Wellington, als sein älterer Bruder Henry kinderlos starb. Er war verheiratet mit Kathleen Emily Bulkeley Williams und hatte mit ihr sechs Kinder, darunter Arthur Charles Wellesley, 5. Duke of Wellington und Gerald Wellesley, 7. Duke of Wellington. 1902 wurde er in den Hosenbandorden aufgenommen. 1934 verstarb Wellesley in Ewhurst Park, Basingstoke, Hampshire.
