Badoo ist eine international angebotene Online-Community.

Die Seite lebt von der Frage „Was will ich heute machen?“ und soll so dem Nutzer ermöglichen, Leute mit gleichen Interessen zu finden.

Die Seite wurde von dem russischen Unternehmer Andrei Andrejew entwickelt und existiert seit 2006. Hauptsitz der Firma ist der Londoner Stadtteil Soho. Im April 2011 erreichte die Seite 114 Millionen registrierte User. Die Seite finanziert sich über ein Freemiummodell, d.h. Basisfunktionen der Kontaktaufnahme sind kostenlos, optimierte Suchfunktionen sind kostenpflichtig.

Badoo wird in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten und im Iran geblockt.
