Camilla de Castro

Camilla de Castro (* 20. April 1979 als Alessandro Caetano Kothenborger; † 26. Juli 2005 in São Paulo) war eine brasilianische transsexuelle Pornodarstellerin und arbeitete auch als Fotomodel und TV-Moderatorin.

Sie arbeitete mit verschiedenen Fotografen zusammen, hatte regelmäßige Auftritte in der brasilianischen TV-Show „Superpop“ und sollte eine eigene Reality-TV-Show bekommen. Am 26. Juli 2005 sprang sie unter Drogeneinfluss vom Balkon ihrer Wohnung im 8. Stock eines Gebäudes in São Paulo – genau ein Monat nachdem sie ihre Verlobung (am 26. Juni) mit ihrem Lebensgefährten öffentlich bekanntgegeben hatte. Der Grund für ihren vermutlichen Suizid blieb bis heute ungeklärt. Die zunächst verbreiteten Gerüchte über eine ihr zuvor bekannt gewordene HIV-Infektion bestätigten sich nicht.
