Castor ist eine Ortschaft in der kanadischen Provinz Alberta in Zentral-Alberta, 143 km östlich der Stadt Red Deer. Castor zählt 931 Einwohner und 437 Haushalte (Stand 2006) auf einer Fläche von 2,72 km².

Die Ortschaft wurde 1905 gegründet. Die Wirtschaft von Castor besteht aus Landwirtschaft, Öl- und Gaskonzernen sowie Bergbau.

Eine bekannte Persönlichkeit von Castor ist der ehemalige Eishockeyspieler Darcy Tucker.
