David Bentley Hart

David Bentley Hart (* 1965 in Maryland) ist ein orthodoxer Theologe und Philosoph. Seine Spezialgebiete sind philosophische Theologie, Religionswissenschaft, asiatische Religionen, Patristik und Ästhetik.

Hart studierte an der University of Maryland, der University of Cambridge und der University of Virginia. Er lehrte an der University of Virginia, der University of St. Thomas in Minnesota, der Duke University und am Providence College in Rhode Island.

Für sein Buch "Atheist Delusions" erhielt er 2011 den mit 10'000 £ dotierten Michael Ramsey Preis.
