Die analysierte wissenschaftliche Literatur stammt aus den Jahren 1981 bis 2007; sie basiert auf dem Web of Science.

Die Daten basieren auf Vorarbeiten des Institute for Scientific Information, das 1992 von der Firma Thomson übernommen wurde.
