Joseph Addison (1879–1953)

Sir Joseph Addison (* 1879; † 1953) war ein britischer Diplomat.

Leben

Joseph Addison trat 1903 in den auswärtigen Dienst und wurde von 1908 bis 1910 in Peking beschäftigt. Am 1. Januar 1924 wurde er als Companion in den Order of St. Michael and St. George aufgenommen. Addison war von 1924 bis 1928 Botschaftsrat an der britischen Botschaft in Berlin. Von 7. April 1930 bis 1936 war er Gesandter in Prag.[1] 1936 wurde er in den Ruhestand versetzt.[2]
