Das Journal of Biogeography ist eine englischsprachige Fachzeitschrift für Biogeographie und Makroökologie. Nach dem ISI Journal Citation Report hat die Zeitschrift ein Ranking (2009) in den Bereichen Ecology von 22 / 127; und Physical Geography von 3 / 35. Der Impact Factor liegt bei 4087 (2009).

Geschichte

Die Zeitschrift erscheint seit 1974 und erscheint mittlerweile in 12 Ausgaben im Jahr und ist Teil des "Paketes" mit den Zeitschriften Global Ecology and Biogeography und Diversity and Distributions. Da die drei Journale inhaltliche Überschneidungen haben, haben sie dieselbe Redaktion.

Inhalt

Es werden Beiträge aus den Bereichen der Makroökologie, Naturschutzbiologie und der Biogeographie sowie der Populationsökologie veröffentlicht.
