Leo A. Paquette

Leo Armand Paquette (* 15. Juli 1934) ist ein amerikanischer organischer Chemiker. Er wurde 1959 am Massachusetts Institute of Technology promoviert. Im Jahr 1969 wurde er Professor für Chemie an der Ohio State University. Er ist Autor von über 1000 Veröffentlichungen und hat Arbeiten in Standardwerken wie der Encyclopedia of Reagents for Organic Synthesis oder Organic Reactions. Gut bekannt ist er auch für die erste Synthese von Dodecahedran.[1]

1992 erhielt er den Ernest Guenther Award in the Chemistry of Natural Products der American Chemical Society.
