Chaohu

Chaohu (巢湖市; Pinyin: Cháohú Shì) ist eine provinzunmittelbare kreisfreie Stadt in der chinesischen Provinz Anhui. Sie hat eine Fläche von 2.082 Quadratkilometern und zählt ca. 870.000 Einwohner (2004). Der in ihrem Gebiet gelegene ehemalige Wohnsitz von Feng Yuxiang (冯玉祥旧居, Féng Yùxiáng jiùjū) steht auf der Liste der Denkmäler der Volksrepublik China.

Administrative Gliederung

Auf Gemeindeebene setzt sich Chaohu aus sechs Straßenvierteln, elf Großgemeinden und einer Gemeinde zusammen. Sitz der Stadtregierung ist das Straßenviertel Woniushan (卧牛山街道).
