Die Madison Avenue ist eine Straße in New York City.

Sie beginnt am Madison Square in Manhattan und ist wie der Platz nach James Madison, dem vierten Präsidenten der USA benannt. Vom Madison Square aus verläuft sie in nördlicher Richtung bis zur Madison Avenue Bridge. Sie befindet sich zwischen den Parallelstraßen Park Avenue und Fifth Avenue.

Die Madison Avenue gilt als relativ teuere Einkaufsstraße. An ihr befinden sich Antiquitätenläden, Modeboutiquen, Juweliere und Schuhgeschäfte. Dazu kommt eine Dichte von Kunstgalerien, die mit SoHo und der 57. Straße vergleichbar ist.

Entlang der Madison Avenue haben sich auch verschiedene Werbeagenturen niedergelassen. Ab der 59. Straße südwärts wird sie durch Bürogebäude geprägt.
