Charles Robert Alder Wright (auch Charles Romley Alder Wright; * 1844 in Southend, Essex; † 25. Juli 1894) war ein englischer Chemiker.
Wright war Dozent für Chemie an der Medizinfakultät des St Mary's Hospital, London.
1874 gelang ihm im Rahmen einer Konstitutionsaufklärung des Morphin-Moleküls, erstmals die Acetylierung des Morphins und damit die Erfindung des Diacetylmorphins (Heroin).
1881 wurde er Mitglied der Royal Society.
Zeitgleich mit C. Thompson entwickelte er eine Brennstoffzelle.
