Der Chief Learning Officer (CLO) ist in der Regel Leiter von Personalentwicklungsabteilungen oder firmeneigenen Bildungsträgern wie Firmencolleges, -akademien oder Corporate Universities.

Im englischsprachigen Raum ist diese Bezeichnung CLO (Chief Law Officer) auch die des Leiter der Rechtsabteilung (Leiter Business Affairs). [1]
