Die Basismitgliedschaft der Seite ist kostenlos, finanziert wird die Seite durch Werbung. Die Seite hat 11 Millionen User, 135 Millionen Besucher monatlich, sowie mehr als 30 Millionen Seitenaufrufe pro Tag und wird v.a. von Kanadiern, Briten, Australiern und US-Amerikanern besucht.[1]

Außerdem wurde die Internetseite in den Musikvideos Telephone von Lady Gaga, Double Vision von 3OH!3, We R Who We R von Ke$ha und Hold It Against Me von Britney Spears gezeigt.
