Ria Oomen-Ruijten

Maria Gertruda Hermina Cecilia (Ria) Oomen-Ruijten (* 6. September 1950 in Echt) ist eine niederländische Politikerin (CDA).

Oomen-Ruijten gehörte ab 1981 der niederländischen Zweiten Kammer an. Seit 1989 ist sie Mitglied des Europäischen Parlaments, sie gehört dabei der EVP-Fraktion an. Bei der Wahl 2009 wurde sie dabei gewählt, obwohl sie auf dem letzten Platz der Liste stand. Ihr politisches Fachgebiet ist Soziales.
