Der Himmelssee (chin. 天池, Tiān Chí)[1]; Hangeul: 천지; korean. Ch'ŏnji oder Chonji) ist ein Kratersee im Gebirge Changbai Shan an der Grenze zwischen der Volksrepublik China und Nordkorea. Er liegt an der Grenze zwischen der nordkoreanischen Provinz Ryanggang-do und der chinesischen Provinz Jilin. Auf chinesischer Seite gehört er zum Gebiet des Kreises Fusong der bezirksfreien Stadt Baishan.

Der See liegt in einer Gipfelcaldera des aktiven Vulkans Baitoushan (Paektusan)[2] auf einer Höhe von 2.189 m. Es ist einer der höchsten, größten und tiefsten Kraterseen der Welt. Seine Fläche beträgt 9.82 km², er ist 373 m[3] tief.
