Spectrum ist eine XMPP-Transportsoftware für Linux und Windows. Sie unterstützt die Kommunikation in die Netzwerke AIM, Facebook, Gadu-Gadu, ICQ, Identi.ca, IRC, Heroes of Newerth, MSN, MySpace, QQ, SIMPLE, SIPE, Twitter, XMPP und Yahoo.[1]

Entwicklungsgeschichte

Die auf der Website als erstes zu findende Version trägt die Versionsnummer 0.2 und wurde am 13. Juli 2010 veröffentlicht. Seit diesem Datum bis Heute wird das Projekt von Jan Kaluza, Mathias Ertl und Paul Aurich betreut.
