Das Urhobo ist eine der edoiden Sprachen und wird vom Volk der Urhobo im Süden des Landes Nigeria gesprochen.

Phonologie

Urhobo hat für eine doide Sprache eine relativ konservative Konsonanteninventur. Sie enthält drei nasale und nur fünf orale Konsonanten, /ɺ, l, ʋ, j, w/, welche nasale Allophone vor den nasalen Vokalen haben.
