Der VW Worker ist eine mittelschwere LKW-Modellreihe der Marke Volkswagen Trucks and Buses, die vom Nutzfahrzeughersteller MAN Latin America für den südamerikanischen Markt produziert wird. Er basiert in Großteilen auf Bauteilen des VW LT und der MAN-VW Baureihe. Die Fertigung erfolgt derzeit im brasilianischen Werk Resende.

Motorsport

In der Saison 2004 und 2005 trat VW auch in Deutschland bei Truckrennen der FIA Super Race Truck Series an. Hierbei wurde der VW Worker als Basis des Race-Trucks verwendet. In beiden Jahren gewann VW mit den Fahrern Markus Oestreich und Ralf Druckenmüller den Meistertitel. Partner des Wolfsburger Herstellers war das Deutsche Post World Net Truckteam.

Der Truck wog 4,8 Tonnen und hatte einen 1300 PS Sechszylinder-Dieselmotor mit Zwölf Litern Hubraum, der mittschiffs hinter der vom VW LT stammenden Fahrerkabine montiert ist.
