vitamin de ist eine Sprachlernzeitschrift für junge Deutschlerner und -lehrer weltweit. Ziel der Zeitschrift ist es Deutsch als Fremdsprache im Ausland zu stärken und ein aktuelles Deutschlandbild zu vermitteln. vitamin de bietet vielseitige Texte für Leseverstehen zu den Themen Landeskunde, Jugend und Lebensart in Deutschland. Die Texte sind nach den Niveaustufen des Gemeinsamen Europäischen Referenzrahmens für Sprachen gekennzeichnet (A2 bis C1). Zu ausgewählten Texten gibt es Didaktisierungen und Audioversionen zum Herunterladen unter www.vitaminde.de/daf. Die Zeitschrift erscheint viermal im Jahr und wird weltweit vertrieben. Die meisten Leser hat vitamin de in Osteuropa und Zentralasien. Die Zeitschrift hat ihre Hauptrepräsentanz beim Verein "vitamin de e.V." in Berlin, wichtiger Produktionsstandort mit dem Vertrieb ist Omsk in Russland.

Gegründet wurde vitamin de 2002 von Tillmann Heß und Robert Teschner, der Chefredakteur der Zeitschrift ist. Unterstützt und fachlich beraten wird die Zeitschrift vom Goethe-Institut Russland, der Zentralstelle für das Auslandsschulwesen, dem Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen und dem Lektorenprogramm der Robert Bosch Stiftung.
