Access Industries ist eine US-amerikanische Beteiligungsgesellschaft, die vom russischstämmigen US-Milliardär Leonard Blavatnik im Jahre 1986 gegründet wurde.

Die Faena Group betreibt das Faena Hotel + Universe Luxushotel in Buenos Aires / Argentinien [2][3]

Im März 2007 wurde über die STT Properties das Luxushotel Grand Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat für 215 Mio. Euro aufgekauft.[4][5][6]

Darüber hinaus sollen weitere Hotels und Bürogebäude in den Vereinigten Staaten, Lateinamerika und Europa zur Faena Group gehören. [7]

Sonstiges

Am 6.März 2008 wurde bekannt, dass die Access Industries den Anteil von 18,56 Prozent der Vatas Holding von Robert Hersov übernehmen soll und damit Großeigentümer der Fluggesellschaft Air Berlin wird. [8] Ein auf 18,94 Prozent aufgestockter Anteil wurde am 19. Mai 2008 von der AI Aviation Coöperatief U.A. mit Sitz in Amsterdam übernommen. Die AI Aviation Coöperatief U.A. wird von der AI SMS L.P. und der AI Aviation Holdings LLC beherrscht, die wiederum Tochterunternehmen der AI SMS L.P. sind. AI SMS L.P. ist eine Tochtergesellschaft der Access Industries Holdings LLC, die von der Access Industries Holdings LLC beherrscht wird, die ein Tochterunternehmen der Access Industries, LLC ist, deren Eigentümer wiederum Len Blavatnik ist. [9]

Wie am 8. Januar 2009 mitgeteilt wurde, hat Blavatnik seinen Air Berlin Anteil von 18,94 Prozent wieder verkauft. [10]
