Als Coffee Table Books werden im Verlagsgeschäft solche Bücher und Bildbände bezeichnet, die großformatig und mit aufwendigen Fotografien, jedoch mit verhältnismäßig wenig Text ausgestattet sind. Der Begriff wird vor allem im Vereinigten Königreich und den Vereinigten Staaten verwendet.

Die Sujets, die von Coffee Table Books abgedeckt werden, sind vielfältig. Es kann sich um Kunstbände handeln, häufiges Thema sind aber auch Landschaftsfotografien und Blumenarrangements. Die klassische Platzierung eines solchen Bildbandes ist auf einem Beistelltisch (engl. coffee table) neben einem Sofa, wo ein Gast im Buch blättern kann.
