Constantin Virgil Gheorghiu
Constantin Virgil Gheorghiu (* 15. September 1916 in Valea Albă, Rumänien; † 22. Juni 1992 in Paris) war ein rumänischer Schriftsteller. Nach dem Studium der Philosophie in Bukarest und der protestantischen Theologie in Heidelberg wurde er als rumänischer Ministerialbeamter mit seiner Frau interniert und verlebte viele Jahre auch in deutschen Lagern. Schließlich ging er nach Frankreich, wo er bis zu seinem Tod in Paris lebte. In 20 Sprachen übersetzt wurden seine Romane „25 Uhr“ und „Die zweite Chance“.
