Earl Baldwin of Bewdley ist ein britischer erblicher Adelstitel in der Peerage of the United Kingdom, der von der Familie Baldwin getragen wird.

Stammsitz der Familie ist Manor Farm House in Wolvercote, Oxfordshire.

Verleihung

Der Titel wurde im Jahre 1937 für den bekannten konservativen Politiker Stanley Baldwin geschaffen. Dieser war dreimal, nämlich von 1923 bis 1924, von 1924 bis 1929 und von 1935 bis 1937, Premierminister des Vereinigten Königreichs gewesen; außerdem hatte er noch mehrere Ministerämter in anderen konservativen Regierungen innegehabt.

Nachgeordneter Titel

Gleichzeitig mit der Earlswürde wurde dem ersten Earl der Titel eines Viscount Corvedale, of Corvedale in the County of Salop verliehen. Dieser wird als nachgeordneter Titel und gleichzeitig auch als Höflichkeitstitel des ältesten Sohns und Titelerben geführt.
